Job summary

The Ivy Castle Rock, part of Ivyliving, is hiring a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration for residents, while providing direct personal care and fostering resident participation in activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, maintaining records, and supporting a safe, collaborative environment within a premier senior living community in Colorado.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN license is a plus.
• Ability to use MS Office and maintain accurate records.
• Able to pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medications to residents as ordered.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential medication and care records.
• Ensure a safe environment and support housekeeping and maintenance as needed.
• Encourage teamwork and collaborative care with staff across departments.
