Job summary

Ivy Park Cathedral Hill is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration for residents, provide direct personal care, and encourage participation in activities.

The role supports a team-focused environment within a premier senior living community operated by Oakmont Management Group. Requires 1 year of RCFE medication assistance experience; LVN is a plus; background checks and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
