Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications to community residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will help monitor reactions and document MAR and vital signs as part of daily care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and current Medication Technician certification where applicable. CPR/First-Aid preferred; you will collaborate with Wellness Director and nursing staff to support resident independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold or be eligible for Medication Technician certification.
• CPR and First-Aid certifications required or obtainable in state of operation.
• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per policies and procedures.
• Monitor resident responses and document MAR updates.
• Review MAR for accuracy and changes to orders.
• Maintain medication cart and supplies, ensuring confidentiality.
• Communicate with Wellness Director and nursing staff regarding changes.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
• Assist with reporting and participation in quality improvement activities.
