VibraLife in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking Part Time Medication Techs for Evening Shifts. You will assist residents, supervise medications, and support daily living activities while maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and accurate record-keeping. Previous SNF experience is a plus, and a strong emphasis is placed on compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation and hazardous waste procedures.
• Respect for resident confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Capable of independent decision making when needed.
• Computer literacy for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and families; supervise and record medications.

Part Time - Evening Shift

8 hour shifts

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting residents, their family members and prospective residents as needed. Supervises and records medications. Assists residents with all activities of daily living when necessary. Assists residents in or out of bed. Takes and records vital signs. Communicates with Physicians and consultants, and provides follow up. Makes Physician appointments and arranges transportation if needed. Responsible for knowledge of and compliance with state regulations, filing necessary reports, and assisting in training new employees. Responds to emergency alert calls. Helps maintain the self respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation and hazardous waste procedures and regulations.
• Ability to understand and respect confidential nature of resident charts and medical information. Ability to deal with residents and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to deal with emergencies in a composed manner. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
