Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, caregiving, or medication assistance preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication procedures.
• Dependable, responsible, and compassionate.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
• Must meet all applicable California requirements for the position.
• Ability to pass background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration according to physician orders and facility policies
• Accurately document medications and resident care
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the appropriate nurse or supervisor
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized resident care
• Maintain resident safety, comfort, and dignity
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
