Job summary

Talentify in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in a licensed facility. You will keep accurate care records and follow physician orders and state regulations.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma, current First Aid and CPR or CNA certification, and fluent English. This role requires mobility and ability to lift up to 25 pounds; prior assisted living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid First Aid Certification and CPR/State CNA certifications may be required.
• Fluent in reading, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

What you will do

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Keep accurate care records
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves

Pay rate $20.00- 22.50 per hour DOE
