Savant Senior Living in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in a supportive, family-like environment. You will maintain accurate care records and follow physicians' orders and state regulations to ensure safe medication handling.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, First Aid/CPR certifications, and fluent English communication. Lifting up to 25 pounds and background in senior care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR certifications; CNA certifications may be required by state.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Follow physicians' orders, procedures, and state regulations for medication handling.
• Lift, bend, and assist residents as needed (up to 25 pounds).

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Keep accurate care records
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly.
