Job summary

Paycom in Georgia is seeking a Medication Technician to provide direct care under the health care provider's orders, administering or assisting with medications and treatments per state regulations. The role supports residents following individualized service plans in a licensed setting.

You will maintain medication records, observe responses, and report changes to supervisors. Responsibilities include keeping the medicine supply room organized, assisting with audits, and ensuring documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current state-approved Medication Technician certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain the physical, social, and psychological environment for residents.
• Maintain residents' records daily including medication distribution and observations.
• Observe residents for changes and report to supervisor.
• Maintain the medicine supply room and assist with audits.
