Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Middletown, OH is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician on the day shift (7am–7pm) to support residents with daily medication needs in a compassionate, dignity-preserving manner.

Responsibilities include MAR adherence, following the Six Rights, and utilizing the eMAR system. Candidates should have an active MT Certification or 1+ year of senior care, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to take additional state-required training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are administered per physicians' orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate Bickford Mission guidance on shift.
