Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities in a supportive team environment.

Based in the United States, Cogir operates a network of senior living communities; the role emphasizes dignity, safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, and staff, with weekend rotation as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and active CNA/HCA license.
• Minimum 12 months of medication administration experience in a caregiving setting.
• Valid First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Certification or willingness to obtain within defined period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders/deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Promote independence and provide engagement and companionship to residents.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
