Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Medication Technician to support resident care by ensuring medications are administered accurately and with compassion. The role emphasizes dignity and enabling residents to live life to the fullest, with daily pay options and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

The position requires familiarity with MAR/eMAR, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with clinical leadership to provide high-quality care to seniors in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Medication Technician Certification or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Ability to utilize Bickford’s eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
