Job summary

Savant of Santa Monica is seeking a Medication Technician to join our caring team for AM and PM shifts. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, following physicians' orders, state laws, and our medication policy.

A high school diploma or equivalent, along with First Aid/CPR/CNA certifications, is preferred; English fluency is required. This role supports our mission and offers a stable environment with opportunities for ongoing education and meaningful resident

Qualifications

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Follow physicians' orders and state laws for medications.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in similar facility.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, CNA certifications; ongoing education and license maintenance.
• Speak/read/understand English fluently.

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. • Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly.

Pay rate $22.00 -$24.50 per hour DOE
