Job summary

Savant of Tarzana seeks a Medical Technician to deliver direct resident care and medication support with a focus on safety and policy compliance. You will follow orders, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a compassionate care environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and valid First Aid/CPR, with CNA credentials preferred. English fluency is essential for effective communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid First Aid Certification; CPR and CNA certifications preferred.
• Fluent in English (speak, read, and understand).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents as directed.
• Follow physicians' orders, policies, and state regulations for medications.
• Demonstrate ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

What you will do:

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

Pay rate $21.00 -$23.50 per hour DOE
