Job summary

Lakewood Park Manor is seeking a Medical Technician to join our caring team in Downey, CA. This role focuses on direct care and medication assistance to residents, in compliance with procedures and state laws. High school diploma preferred; valid First Aid, CPR, CNA certifications may be required; fluent English essential.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
  • Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations may need to possess current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications, and pass an examination and/or skills evaluation. Also, must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s).
  • Speak read and understand English fluently.
Must haves:
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.

Prolonged periods walking or standing.

Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time.

Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly.

Pay rate $19.00 -$21.50per hour DOE
