Fairmont of Westlake is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and to perform direct care duties for residents in our 100-bed community in Westlake, Ohio.

You will help maintain a positive physical, social and psychological environment, support Montessori-inspired living principles, and join a team that values dignity, respect and compassionate, person-centered care.

Formación

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet state certification requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of Medication Administration Assistant course.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsabilidades

General Purpose

To administer medications under the supervision of a professional, licensed nurse and in accordance with applicable current State and Federal laws. To perform direct care duties under the supervision of professional, licensed nursing personnel. Assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistance in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of Medication Administration Assistant course and show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
• Must speak and understand English
• Positive attitude toward the elderly
• Must understand standards of med pass and successfully demonstrate abilities within these standards
