Job summary

Whispering Winds of Apple Valley Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Tech to support residents with dignity and safety, administering medications per physician orders and coordinating closely with nursing staff.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification, has at least six months’ experience with older adults, and can communicate clearly in English. We offer flexible schedules, paid time off, competitive benefits, CEU reimbursement, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
• Ideal candidate will be caring, organized and able to multi-task.

The salary range for this position is $17.00 to $18.50.
