Job summary

South Hill Village Assisted Living and Memory Care in Spokane, WA is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech to support resident care. You will assist with medication administration, follow physician orders, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe, accurate delivery of medications.

The role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT), same-day pay options, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months relevant experience with older adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration per state orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration to residents as prescribed.
• Monitor residents for adverse effects and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.

Highlights of the Medication Tech Position:

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required)
• A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Responsible for medication assistance or administration of medications, according to the state requirements and written physicians’ orders.
• Ideal candidate will be caring, organized and able to multi-task.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00.
