Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents. You will help administer prescribed medications within scope and maintain accurate documentation in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.

Responsibilities include ensuring resident well-being, reporting issues, and supporting a calm, professional team environment. Flexible schedule with potential weekend/holiday shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medication Aide Course.
• CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing required.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push/carry 25 lbs.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be in designated uniform with name badge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or ED.
• Maintain policies and procedures relevant to the position.
• Complete medication cart audits as assigned.
• Communicate medication needs to HCD and update EMAR/Daily Log.
• Re-orders medications and communicates changes to families as needed.
• Attend and complete required in-services and staff meetings.
