Job summary
Harmony Senior Services in McDonough, GA is seeking a Med Tech to provide compassionate care, assist with activities of daily living, and administer prescribed medications within the scope of practice. You will document accurately, follow policies, and support residents and nursing staff in a busy community.
The role requires teamwork, reliable communication, ability to lift and assist residents, and completion of mandated trainings.
Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
- Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
- Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
Responsibilities
- Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN, HCD or ED.
- Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
- Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
- Assist in planning and conducting activities for residents.
- Document medication administration and communicate needs to HCD.
