GAAMHA’s Sunrise Ridge site in Athol, MA seeks a Medication Specialist to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication support for residents rebuilding their lives. You will collaborate with shift teams, educate patients, and maintain compliant medication practices in a structured recovery environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and safety, with responsibilities spanning medication storage, audits, refills coordination, and staff training support.

Qualifications

• Background in residential treatment, behavioral health, or peer recovery preferred.
• One year of continuous recovery experience required for candidates with lived experience.
• Must pass CORI and other background checks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee medication storage, documentation, and administration processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication logs and records.
• Ensure proper handling of discontinued medications and safe disposal.
• Conduct observation or facilitation of medication passes during assigned shifts for up to 32 women, ensuring safety.
