Veterans Inc. is seeking a detail-focused professional to manage medication tracking and safety within a residential recovery environment at 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA. The role supports individuals recovering from SUD and co-occurring mental health conditions with precise medication management.

The position requires evenings and weekends as needed, extensive familiarity with HIPAA, BSAS/DPH guidelines, and MSUD/MAT medications. A strong EHR and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment.
• Medical assistant certification or MAP Certified.

Responsabilités

• Follow the 6 Rights of Medication Management (Right Patient, Medication, Dose, Route, Time, Documentation).
• Adhere to BSAS SOPs, DPH guidelines, and HIPAA laws.
• Know MSUD/MAT medications such as Methadone, Buprenorphine, and Vivitrol.
• Enter clinical data into EHRs (Kipu or InSync) and use MS Office tools.
• Maintain clinical, legal, and ethical boundaries in a peer-support role.
• Provide trauma-informed, nonjudgmental care to diverse populations.
