Job summary

Langdon Place of Exeter, part of 603 Healthcare, is seeking a Medication Aide to support licensed nurses with safe medication administration and quality resident care in Exeter, NH. The role offers consistent Monday 3PM–11PM shifts and every other weekend, with compensation based on experience.

You will administer medications under supervision, document administration accurately, monitor residents for changes, and communicate concerns promptly to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current nursing-assistant certification is required.
• Current Medication Aide certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or two years of medication-aide experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer permitted medications under physician orders and facility procedures.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions.
• Accurately document medication administration.
• Follow written and verbal medication-management instructions.
• Obtain vital signs and perform medication-related tasks.
• Maintain safe and secure medication storage.
• Stock medication carts and manage discontinued medications.
• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned within your role.

About the Role

As an MNA, you'll work alongside our licensed nursing team to support safe medication administration and quality resident care.

You'll administer permitted medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, accurately document medication administration, observe residents for changes or reactions, and communicate concerns promptly.
