Job summary

Langdon Place of Exeter, part of 603 Healthcare, is seeking a Medication Nursing Assistant to support licensed nursing staff with safe medication administration and quality resident care.

You will administer permitted medications under supervision, document administration, observe residents for changes, and communicate concerns promptly. Shift: Mondays 3PM–11PM and every other weekend; compensation $23–$28/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current nursing-assistant certification.
• Current Medication Aide certification.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience or two years of medication-aide experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Responsibilities

• Administer permitted medications in accordance with physician orders, applicable requirements, and facility procedures.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions.
• Accurately document medication administration.
• Follow written and verbal medication-management instructions.
• Obtain vital signs and complete permitted medication-related tasks.
• Maintain safe and secure medication storage.
• Stock medication carts and appropriately handle discontinued medications.
• Communicate resident concerns promptly to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with resident-care duties as assigned and within your role.
