Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill seeks a Pharmacy Technician to work with the ED team, documenting medication histories and reconciling meds for admissions and discharges. You will use the EHR to support physicians and ensure safe, accurate orders while delivering excellent patient service.

Requirements include active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/NHA), PA Board registration, and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA, or equivalent).
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the Pennsylvania State Board required.
• PTCB Medication History Certification within twelve (12) months of start date.
• Minimum five (5) years of pharmacy technician experience required.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and document accurate medication lists for newly admitted ED patients.
• Enter information into the electronic health record to guide medication orders at admission and discharge.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and effective communication with patients and staff.
