Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Medication Clinic Coordinator in Elk City, OK. You will coordinate clinic activities, manage appointments, and support prescribers and clients in medication-related processes.

The role requires a high school diploma with preferred associates/bachelor’s degree and prior mental health experience, plus strong communication and emergency handling skills. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in a mental health setting is required.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in use of physical assessments.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies.
• Knowledge/experience with administration of psychotropic medications a plus.

Responsabilités

• Set up Med Clinic with supplies, charts, sign-in sheets, and track charts.
• Assist clients with indigent medication benefits.
• Coordinate appointment flow and arrange follow-ups with doctors.
• Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies.
• Track authorization approvals and assist with denials.
• Document clinic closures and manage disposal of used medical supplies.
• Coordinate follow-ups for no-shows via letter, call, or referral.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and arrange disposal of hazardous waste.
• Record vital signs and report unusual symptoms to doctor.
• Communicate with other programs and health care providers.
• Perform other duties as required.
