Job summary

Experience Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to join our care team in Indiana. You will provide medication reminders, assist with administration, and maintain accurate resident records in our digital platform.

Responsibilities include room visits, responding to requests, and coordinating with the Health and Wellness team to ensure resident safety and quality of care. Prior state-mandated medication certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or related experience.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• Must successfully complete ESL medication competency on hire per state regulation.
• First Aid and CPR Certification if required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and administer medications per state guidelines.
• Order and receive medication and communicate shortages to pharmacy.
• Maintain resident records in our digital platform daily.
• Perform room visits and room checks regularly.
• Assist with resident care when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for assistance and emergencies.
• Monitor safety and well-being of residents and report changes to Health and Wellness staff.
