Job summary

Experience Senior Living LLC is seeking a Medication Assistant to join our amazing team. You will provide medication reminders and administration per state guidelines, maintain resident records in our digital platform, and communicate with the pharmacy as needed.

This full-time, 6a-6p shift requires a High School Diploma or related experience, medication certification, CPR/First Aid as required, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2–4 years of related experience.
• Medication certification as required by state guidelines.
• Must complete ESL medication competency on hire or per state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and/or assistance according to state regulations
• Administers medications as allowed by state guidelines
• Order and receive medication; ensure availability and communicate with pharmacy
• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents
• Maintain resident records in the digital platform daily (medication distribution, incidents, observations)
• Perform room visits and room checks regularly
• Assist with resident care when needed
• Respond promptly to resident requests (pull cords, calls)
• Monitor safety and well-being; communicate changes to health director/nurse on duty
• Audits and checks rooms for self-administered meds and compliance
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and peers
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
