Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is hiring a Registered Medication Associate for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) at our Manassas community, located at 9201 Portner Ave. Pay range is $22-$25 per hour and Walk-In-Wednesday events are available for applicants.

The RMA provides high quality resident care, assists with medication administration, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. CPR/First Aid and RMA certification are required; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• RMA certification and continuing education as required by the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administers and records medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Observes and reports adverse effects and maintains accurate resident records.
• Maintains medication storage and inventory, and handles re-orders as needed.
• Demonstrates proper infection control and adheres to policies.
