Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures governing the administration of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with nursing staff and physicians.
• Document and report adverse reactions or complaints.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration.
