Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications per protocol. The role requires observing residents for reactions, recording vital signs, and reporting findings to the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of State Approved Medication Aide Training & Competency Evaluation Program.
• Must have good standing in state registry.
• Experience in healthcare and knowledge of Universal Precautions/Bloodborne Pathogen rules.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by policy.
• Observe and report reactions and side-effects to meds.
• Record vital signs before med administration.
• Document medication administration in MAR.
• Assist in daily care tasks (bathing, feeding, dressing) and care of residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of nursing station, med room, and supply areas.
• Notify licensed nurse in emergencies and document actions.
