Qualifications

• Must have Medication Aide Licensure.
• Experience in caregiving to older adults preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Desire to work with older adults.
• Required medication training.
• Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or administer medications to residents according to MAR, following policy.
• Document clearly on MAR after medication events and maintain confidentiality.
• Keep medication cart/cabinet neat, restock as needed.
• Provide residents with required treatments as part of their service plan.
• Carry out duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure resident safety.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate changes in resident condition to Wellness Nurse.
