Qualifications

• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Note and report medication errors promptly.
• Help develop procedures to prevent medication errors and improve safety.
• Complete required forms, charts, and reports.
• Maintain professional relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacists.
• Document and verify medication administration and ensure proper labeling and charting.
• Participate in QA programs related to medication pass and safety.
• Observe residents during medication administration and document refusals or issues.
