You will participate in QA programs, report medication errors, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery while maintaining resident privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide who completed a state approved training program and exams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians.
• Follow facility policies for medication handling, labeling, charting, and disposal.
• Document and report medication errors and adverse reactions.
• Maintain professional relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and pharmacists.
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety programs.
• Observe resident responses and verify medication ingestion or application as directed.
