Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare/senior living/long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing; CPR/First Aid preferred; background check & drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe changes, measure vital signs, and report to nursing staff.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control, keep records organized, and respond to emergencies.
