Springs of Ballentine is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications and monitor residents' health, while supporting the nursing team. The role emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and adherence to care standards within a senior living setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, state-approved Medication Aide training (preferred), and a minimum 1 year of relevant experience. CPR/First Aid and background checks are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare/senior living/long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document meds per orders.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes, measure vital signs as needed.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control, keep carts/records organized, assist in emergencies.
