Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a dedicated CMA to join Los Alamos Assisted Living in Los Alamos, NM. The CMA works under the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes, delivering high-quality resident care daily.

Requirements include clear English communication and prior patient care experience is preferred. The role involves charting, meeting trainings, and contributing to a team focused on compassionate, Spirit of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.

Your Job

A CMA is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
