Job summary

Los Alamos Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The CMA works under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes while maintaining the highest standard of resident care.

Responsibilities include reporting any changes in patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor, following charting guidelines for PRN documentation, and documenting medication reorder.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

A CMA is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
