Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Medication Aide / Med Tech in Fort Worth, TX to administer medications per physician orders, document in MAR/TAR, and monitor residents for health changes. You will follow the Six Rights, maintain clean carts, and report concerns promptly in a regulated, resident-centered environment.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong documentation and communication

• Strong documentation and communication skills required.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
