Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents in a senior living setting. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and dignity in daily care.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, documenting in MAR/TAR, observing residents during and after medication passes, and complying with infection control standards. Prior senior care experience is preferred; certification required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
