Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity at our Overland Park community.

Responsibilities include administering medications per orders, following the Six Rights, documenting in MAR/TAR, monitoring residents and reporting concerns promptly, and maintaining clean medication carts. CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certification are required; senior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
