Sunrise Senior Living in California is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments per physician orders, maintain MAR/TAR accuracy, and monitor residents for safety and comfort.

You will follow the Six Rights, document in real time, perform narcotic counts, and uphold infection control while collaborating with nursing staff. Certification in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and a high school diploma are required; senior care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
