Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for changes while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, medication administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Prior senior care experience is preferred.

What You\'ll Do:

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We\'re Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range: 17.95 - 22.45
