Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications safely and accurately for our residents on-site. You will follow physician orders, document in MAR/TAR, monitor residents, and ensure comfort and dignity in every interaction.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong documentation/communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
