Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity in a supportive setting. You will administer orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR with real-time accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong documentation and communication abilities. Prior senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
