Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with precision and compassion. You will follow physician orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents for any changes in health.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred, with benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
