Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Waldwick, NJ, seeks compassionate Medication Aides/Technicians to help residents manage medications safely under physician orders. Join our Resident Services Wellness Department to provide reliable MAR-based medication administration with kindness and attention to detail.

Candidates should have a New Jersey Home Health Aide certificate, a Medication Aide credential, and ideally experience with dementia care.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADLs and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Familiarity with MARs and doctors’ orders; training provided if needed.
• Able to work one weekend day per week.
• New Jersey Home Health Aide certificate and NJ med tech certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and medication administration.
• Follow MARs and physicians’ orders and document accurately.
• Adhere to Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness instructions.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents and follow company policies.
