Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Waldwick, NJ seeks a compassionate Medication Aide to support residents with daily medication management. The Casual 7am-3pm shift includes every other Saturday and Sunday within our Resident Services Wellness Department, delivering safe, reliable assistance under nurse supervision.

You will follow MARs and doctors’ orders, assist with ADLs, and adhere to all policies to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with Alzheimer's disease and dementia a plus
• Reliable, observant, and calm under pressure
• Must be able to work one weekend day per week
• NJ state med tech certification required to apply
• HHA certificate required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and administration of medications
• Follow policies and procedures and nurse supervision
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of residents
• Adhere to MARs and doctors’ orders
