Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Wayne, NJ is seeking compassionate Medication Aides to assist residents with medications and daily living tasks in the Resident Services Wellness Department.

Eligible candidates hold a New Jersey state med tech certification and an HHA certificate. Experience with Alzheimer's is a plus; training is provided. Full-time position includes a weekend shift per week.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ state med tech certification to apply.
• HHA certificate required to perform duties.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia a plus; training provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and administration of medications.
• Follow policies and procedures; adhere to Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of residents while following policies.
• Follow MARs and doctors’ orders for medication administration.
