Job summary

The Landings of Georgetown is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as Medication Aide preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Experience in senior care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation.
• Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including ADLs.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors to a nurse.
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Ensure safe and compliant storage of medications.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other professionals to ensure quality care.
