The Landings of Rocky Mount Mills is seeking a compassionate and experienced Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as Medication Aide preferred (on-the-job training available).
• Healthcare experience in senior care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation.
• Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including assistance with ADLs.
• Maintain accurate and timely medication records and report adverse reactions or errors to the supervising nurse.
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition related to medication.
• Ensure medications are stored safely and securely per state regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow all regulations, guidelines, and protocols for medication administration and safety.
